BTW do you know if the ETAs on Newegg mean you can buy them at midnight, or sometime during the day? Pls help!!! I just need that to buy the whole computer!

Well I know Tigerdirect is based out of illinois , Newegg ships from Ca, NJ , and Kentucky. So it all depends on where they are shipped from and where you live. So a good rule of thumb is to allow 1 to 1 1/2 days per time zone if its UPS during buiness week(M-F) , I would guess Fedex is close. Now if its being shipped with DHL or standard mail expect 7-12 days.

He is talking about when is Newegg going to get them in stock...

TSMC, the chip maker for BOTH AMD and Nvidia, is having problems with their 40nm process on their GPUs.

In September they got a new production machine for the 40nm process and they are getting it online now, slowly, so you should start seeing a rise in GPU availability here in a few weeks.

Right now AMD is only ABLE to ship out a couple thousand GPUs to board makers for e-tailers and retailers because TSMC is having yield problems.

AMD hopes that by the end of November or before Christmas shipments of 58XX cards will increase to the tens of thousands per week.
