Help only black screen when turn my pc on.

A few weeks my pc froze so I rebooted every thing fine, then a few days later I try to turn it on all I get is a black screen. Light turn on and the fans turn on fine. But still a black screen tried on 3 different monitors and a new video card. Same problem Help Please.

You probably have a worm or something in your computer. Did you scan for any viruses? Did you have an Anti-Virus program?

No I did not I don't even see the bios screen when I turn the pc on, just stays at a black screen.

your PSU is bad, i just had the same issue. I changed the PSU and all was right with the world again 8)

Guys, it's not a software issue. If it was, he would at least get to the point where the OS is being loaded. He can't even see the BIOS screen. Since you mention you got a new video card recently, the power supply could probably not handle it, like suggested above.

Try removing the RAM and putting it back in again?

maybe just use your back-up i had it to i put the back-up back i did great.

reboot my pc then it happend again so i reinstalled Windows.

try one stick of ram the i think it may be your psu

Hi,

Definately not a software problem, or a worm. Like some of the guys said above, could be your PSU as you have just installed a new GPU. What is your GPU / PSU.

Also have you tried reseating /using different DVI cables?

Tried removing the GPU and putting it back in again?

Checked the power connectors to the GPU?

Tried your old GPU?
