help ordering new pc

My current pc has been hit by the vista black screen of death and has pretty much died so planning on ordering one tonight but i have a question first The site which im planning to buy off (and bought my current pc off) uses OEM graphics cards, now i dont unstand it really but do they offer less performance than retail cards like saphire etc? this is the PC and need some advice on thing to alter, using for gaming need to last 2+ years

Neither link works and since you are asking about a new build on this site the first thing everyone is going to ask you is - are you willing to build it yourself? So, I'll go ahead and get that out of the way.

Are you willing to build a new pc yourself?

Well if you can install a CPU cooler and a GPU then you can build your own from the ground up no problemo. There is a guide stickied at the top of these forums as well. Also, there are tons of resources out there on how to do it. Just plug everything into the right place and power it up, it's that simple! You will get a good bit more for your $$.

The system you are looking at is pretty solid. If you priced the parts individually though you would probably find you would have room to upgrade in that same budget range if you can muster the confidence to just jump in and learn about PC building.
