I have a 26" tv/monitor native resolution 1440x900. I want to play left4dead, witcher, stalker and halflife. Which of these cards will give me the most bang for my buck 4830 $90 - 4670 $70- 3850 $60 9800gt - $95. I don't play very often so I want to spend as little as possible but if the 4670 is much better than the 3850 then what's $10. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Here is a better option, If your mobo supports CrossFire then go with a 4770 on CrossFire. Its a known fact that a 4770 on CrossFire can beat a single GTX260.

But thats just my opinion. Im more of an Nvidia guy so go with 9800GT, cheap, cool and relaiable. I should know because a 9800GT is the same as an 8800GT (my old card), it ran all the programs you mentioned at High Settings on (1440x900) since we have the same monitor resolution.

I agree aeterna789, with your budget I recommend a 4770. If your mobo and wallet allows, you can always crossifre later as the 4770 scales quites well on crossfire

Get a 4770, its performs a little below a 4850, but smaller, quieter, cooler and uses less energy.
