Ok, so I bought a computer recently with all the drivers installed already, but I thought the 8800GTX's drivers were out of date. so, I installed new ones from nvidia's website. However, when I reboot I get these messages and my framerate in games isn't as good as before -

"SM BUS software not found" and "PCI bridge software not found." Also it says that my device will not work properly...

I have Windows XP Professional but not the 64 bit version, and the PNY version GTX...so what should I do to fix this? Maybe I installed the wrong type of driver?

Thank you!

Try reverting to your previous drivers. Windows will have saved them for you and there's an option to reinstall them if you right click on the device in device manager and choose properties.
