When I was looking at motherboards I saw the nvidia nForce 750i SLI. When looked at this on Google for prices I found that Asus were coming up (there may have been some others as well) and the product was called something like "Asus motherboard P5N-D nForce 750 SLI" The question I have for you is why it says Asus, as they are a completely different company. I have also seen this happen regarding graphics cards as well.

Thanks for the help

Well NVidia basically sell the Graphics Card or Motherboards to a company (Asus/Whatever) and get paid a fee for it. Once the company has bought the Motherboard/Card they are free to do as they wish with it.

Its kind of like the retail system (Companies buy goods and sell them on)

Nvidia makes nforce and the geforce plans. Asus, MSI, Evga, XFX... all make and sell it. Tough any non nforce mobo has nothing to do with nvidia. btw Asus is a good brand get one.
