Help Save ALIENS: Colonial Marines

I'm sure most of you have heard about this great new game, and I'm sure all of you know how bad the economy is right now. Well I've heard that there have been several layoffs in many publishers, some in the ALIENS: Colonial Marines development team!! I know that if any of you have ever been interested in Sci Fi movies, you know how great the movies Alien and Aliens were, we are so close to getting a great next gen title about the greatest Sci Fi movie of all time.

So please, go to the site, fill out the petition, (you dont have to donate, it isn't related to the petition) and help save a great game.

The donation thing isnt necesary, I almost bit into to it too, but if you read the fine print it says that the donation is for the site, not for the petition and isn't needed to submit your signature. Actually when you see that message your signature has already been added.

BTW- Thank You to all of you that have signed, I'm sure we will be happy to see this game on the shelves, hopefully soon.:)

Can you explain to me that if developers are laying off staff working on a game because of the economy.. how will signing a petitition get those employees their jobs back and get the game on store shelves?

Sorry but petitions don't ever actually do anything.. also, do you have any links to show that staff have been layed off and the game is on hold? The official site says nothing about it.

I hope it gets canceled. I loved Aliens vs. Predator 2 and it's a damn shame that they ignored the hardcore fans who asked for an AVP3 and decided to give us this 4-man, co-op only, squad-based shooter.TheBigBadGRIM

Uhh guys don't bother. I'm not going to say I have inside information, but I saw on a site a post by a gearbox employee, aliens is currently safe.nutcrackr

... Colonial Marines is being made by Gearbox, a company that hasn't made a shooter for a very long time.. I would rather see AVP3 made by Monelith the CORRECT people that have proven to make great shooters, furthermore a gerat ALIENS game.. Something that WILL happen in the future most likely due to their success.. sSubZerOo
