And i haven't downloaded anything recently other then a few common known games that i scanned beforehand. ANd some icons that im pretty sure i scanned all of em.

What should i scan with? All i have is Avg atm.

I've found AVG and many other antiviruses do nothing at taking out rougue antiviruses, like what you seem to have, they act like legit antivirus programs and scam you into giving them your credit card info. I would try MalwareBytes, it's free and it has taken off every rogue antivirus I have ever encountered.

If it's a system-level infection, no antivirus application can ensure that the system is clean & no longer compromised, as the initial infection likely will piggyback more malware along with it. If you really want to ensure your system's integrity is clear, format & reinstall.

Should Malware bytes do it? Because i really don't want to reformat and lose everything and Avg didn't find anything.
