My Spec:

- NVIDIA Geforce MX 440

- Intel Pentium 4 cpu 2.40 Ghz

- 512 MB Ram

- XP Service Pack 2

- 21 GB free space

To what I know, the game needs:

- 1.8 Ghz Proccesor

- 512 Mb Ram

- XP Service Pack 2 (or VISTA)

- 8 GB of space or more

Why doesn't it work on mine?

Your videocard is not supported.

It's time for an upgrade.

Supreme Commander obviously feels that he is superior in terms of your PC. So outstrecth your hands, pick up your PC, and huck it over your left shoulder...

kidding, as everyone else said, you need a new V-card

Geforce 4 mx been there. LOL. There should of been a spot also on the box of supreme commander that included what video card you need. And also what cards that are supported. Honestly man imo, don't even bother. I mean you need an upgrade, and for the money, you can a system that will play supreme commander to its fullest. You gotta do it. Supreme commander to me isn't that same with all the bells and whistles to go along with everything else the game has to offer.

I just got this game, I'm running on a dual-core 2.93GHZ, 2GB RAM, geforce 7900 GS, runs well on max detail/texture levels. until the unit count gets towards 1000, then units take like 2 minutes to respond..., but you definately need at least the 2 GB RAM, some ppl even recommend up to 4 GB RAM, but I don't, unless you've got extra $$ to shell out...   I heard this game makes good use of dual core technology...  anyways, I'm not upset, its the first game I own that actually pushes my system beyond, it such a beautiful game, its a shame to have to lower the detail now and then.  I guess now I'll have to upgrade...sigh....

The next patch should address issues with performance and AI, in addition to further balancing of the factions.
