ok, so i have now downloaded it 2x and i still cant get it to install, i cant find the stupid setup or i should say the setup wont work, it usually show a word document with symbols, and ideas on how to get it to work.
yeah, u downloaded it the old fashioned way. and ur Winrar file says its corrupt.. U need to download it using their own IGN download manager (need IGN account for this), then when u open using the IGN download manager itextracts the files for you, and then takeyou right to their setup, not worrying about the rar files.
see i redownloaded it from gamershell, this time i used winzip, and now setup wont run right or somethingxfactor19990
okay.. DID u Even Read My post??!?!? U don't freakin download it using ur firefox and or IE, use Filefront's IGN download manager to download the file.. Just read my post.. its UP THERE ^^^^ it will solve your problems.. .. if u missed it just read the next post.

I downloaded the free Prince of Persia from Gamershell using Firefox and it works fine so I don't think thats the problem.
Good god it seems like the free ad-supported version of far cry is more trouble than it's worth. I have seen like 5 Far Cry issue topics in the last two days. This tells me something..NEVER GET IT FREE IF THERE ARE ADS INVOLVED..because I think the ads are the problem slowing you down IMO like a commerical on TV when you just wanna watch the movie.
same wiht me, i have my acount se to the u.s., but it wont work! HAALLLPPP!!! i really want to play this but i cant find any copys in any stores :( :( i really need this to work, does anyone have a way around the *you need to live in the u.s. * message?!?!?!?!!?!?
this is starting to annoy me. everyon says that, but i cant find any copies in any local stores, and im not driving 2 hoursa to buy a 5 dollar game if i could get it for free
