I just got ME2 for PC and I tweaked the graphics options a little bit so I could run the game smoothly.

but I realize that the characters models look very ugly, like, they have huge wrnkles everywhere, they look as if a truck would have smashed their face...perfect lines in the people faces...miranda's neck looks awful because its full with those lines as she would have gone from 400 lb to 140 (it looks as if she would have too much skin for her own body)

and I dont know if its normal...but shepard has scars (actual scars) in "live hot red" as if the guy had a volcano on them (but I actually think thats how it looks like even on highest...I could be wrong though)

so whats the option to change the quality of the character models? since theres not an specific "character quality" option?

Character models shouldn't change o_0 only the crispness and overall quality of what you see, what are your settings? (a screenshot would also help) Also those red scars are there because you are a "bad" Shepard, if you continue to be bad it'll get even worse, if you want to look good you have to get healed (don't remember when it asks you, should be after a mission at the doctor on the Normandy or I believe there was a machine you could buy to fix them) or be a "good" Shepard.

Post a screenshot and we can determine if it's a graphical anomaly or intentful.

And the scars are purposeful. They actually explain this right at the beginning of the game; your healing wasn't complete by the time the facility was attacked and so you need to complete the healing process over the period of the game. Renegade actions increase the scarring and Paragon actions remove it. You can also remove the scars using a medical bay upgrade for the [Ship] in case you want to be Renegade but still don't like the scars.

YOu're the same guy with the Quadro 2500 workstation card, yes? I'm not surprised it looks terrible and has bugs.

You're the same guy with that Quadro FX 2500, get a new card instead of that acient artifact.

Yep, no amount of tweaking will make that game look any better with that card.

This is normal.

They are the scars left behind after you are "resurrected" at the beginning of the game. They will fade if you choose to be a paragon, and will intensify if you choose to be a renegade.

Go in game, hit the Print Screen (Prt Scrn) key, paste into paint. Save the file, upload to tinypic.com, post the url here.

I did it but once I copy it into paint it just shows a black screen
