I don't know the first thing about the names and performance of any parts. So basically I want to spend from 600-1000 dollars on this. I also want it to be AMD parts. So from the sticky thread he had these listed as parts that Ill need. Suggest away, also any links to sites for self-help works too. IF you really want AMD you NEED to wait for Bulldozer untill you build.

There are AM3+ compatible boards out, (witch is what you want to get) but at the moment most great boards are in the 990FX range and they're very expencive, at this point and not too long untill release I wouldnt bother buying a 890/880 chipset motherboard, when BullD arrive there should be pleanty of boards to choose from at a good price.

Even if you (as we dont know the price yet.) perhaps couldnt afford the Bulldozer when it arrive the Ph2 lineup will probably be sold for a good bit less than now. (the 955BE is however intresting even today at the very low price of $119)

With the budget you got you should be able to fit a HD6950.

ah perfecto.. bulldozer is set for june 6-7th then :) (depending on which sde of the international date line your sitting)

their base model quad core is supposedly twice as powerful as their current bottom end 6-core the 1045t (and at about 25-35 bucks cheaper to boot) which is nothing to shake a stick at :P
