Wait till BF3 is out. Change CPU to 2500K. Get at least, the 560 Ti. Change HDD to Samsung Spinpoint F3 (1TB). Buy a P67 mobo, so you can get more features, for the same price.

Drop the PSU down to 650watt, unless you plan to SLI.

Also, it isn't worth spending extra $$ on 1600MHz RAM. Performance gain (over 1333) is negligible. Don't buy a DVD rom drive when a DVD burner costs like $2 more.

Yep! I used to work at a computer place (back in January) that still fitted them to their rigs

This build is more powerful than your list

CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k ($219.99)
Motherboard: ASRock P67 EXTREME4 GEN3 ($159.99)
Graphics: MSI GTX560 Ti Twin Frozr II ($239.99)
RAM: Mushkin 2x2 (4GB) DDR3 ($26.99)
PSU: OCZ 750W 80+ bronze ($99.99)
HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB ($59.99)
Optical Disc: LITE-ON 24x DVD-RW ($18.99)

-------------------------------------------------------
$826

Notes:
-The 2500K has much higher performance and overclocking potential. In 2012, you can just OC to 4-5GHz rather than upgrading.
- The motherboard is futureproof. It supports Ivybridge processors, PCI-Ex16 3.0 and both SLI and Crossfire. Your current mobo doesn't support Nvidia SLI nor x8/x8 PCIE
- This 560 is the Ti version, not only does it have more processors than the one you listed but the MSI twin frozr gives it great OC potential.
- You'll need to pick out a case. Or use your current. Newegg doesn't show the interior, which is important.
