I would like a second opinion on whether I'd be in the clear to run RA3 on my PC. And also any tips for improving system performance.

Specs:

P4 3.42 GHz Single core

GPU: 8500 GT 256MB

1 Gg of RAM

Not a modern day power-house by any standard, but it's well rounded considering it's vintage. I've been playing CnC 3 and it runs fine on fairly detailed graphic settings, so the game looks superb. I've also played COD4 & COH on my PC and they run quite well. COH slows down on maps with more than four players. I also have SupCom but the limitations of my processor show when things heat up. The only time there is a dramatic drop in framerates in CnC 3, is when the engine is rendering large patches of Tiberium. Considering that RA3 is built off a slightly modified version of the same game engine (the system reqs appear to be the same, also), I think I'll have no problem. Of course, I could just be naive. So a second opinion would be appreciated.

PS. I posted this earlier but the system req thread is far too slow. I need answers ASAP.

Cheers.

According to some people, if you can run CNC3 on high without any problems, then you should be able to run RA3 fairly well.

Your best bet is to try out the demo/beta and see how it runs.

Yeah I agree, 1GB of RAM is probably pushing your PC. Especially if you're running Vista. So maybe an extra GB or 2, Depending on your ram type, 2GB sticks are not all the expensive either.
