i don't know how to use ndiswrapper, i have a dell latitude d600 and i am trying to get the wireless turned on.

If anyone can help here, cool, but I'm sure you would have better luck at the Ubuntu forums. Gaming forums aren't usually rife with Linux users....

Wireless is the hardest thing to get working in Linux. Unless you have a wireless card that is one of the VERY few with Linux drivers, you are probably out of luck.

Even if you do have drivers for Linux, it's still a nightmare, best stick with hardline.
