ok i know i have another topic where someone helped rec a build which i have used but added a bit myself.this one is to finally put my final build to rest. this comp will be used for movies, net, music and older and maybe new games(WOW and postal 2). thanks in advance :)

Intel E8500(do i really need a 8500 or should i just stick with 8300?)

9600gt gigabyte

nope money is good :) just not good enough to spend a crapload on getting a computer for games when half of them are on my 360. thanks for the reply and rating. prehaps rate it on what it is that im using it for? no changes needed at all for my want of just playing old and maybe new games, movies, music, net?

read what im gonna be doing with the comp. do i really need 4gb of ram for all that? so wait you are saying to get a 20" mnitor? why wouldnt a 17 be good enough?

If you intend to use it for gaming, the 8500 and 8300 are poor choices. They are not gaming cards. Depending on budget, at least consider the 8600 or 8800. Check this to see what gives you the most bang for your buck.belboz

but my friend is giving me the 17" for free or hes throwing it out cause hes getting a new one and it works perfectly apparantly. and when i get it and if i get a new monitor i wont have anything to do with it :S and selling it wont give me crap so.
