Yup. Wired controller can just be plugged into a USB port and Windows Update will download the necessary drivers. The wireless controllers can also be used by using an official wireless receiver.

Yep. Works with all Games For Windows branded games and workes with other pc games that have gamepad settings that allow you to map the controls. I dont know about other Ubisoft PC games but I also know that Rainbow Six Vegas has a checkbox to select if you are using an Xbox 360 controller. It works, and it works really nice. I used it to play FIFA 07, NFS Most Wanted and Carbon, Toca Race 3. I also tried to use it for the vehicles in BF2, but it is a little awkward
