Most of em are pretty much the same performance wise. Xfx just usually overclocks the cards a bit and adds double lifetime waranty, and you pay more for that, while saphire tends to have better cooling from what I've seen.
Unless mfg warranties are very important to you (xFx dbl lifetime, ASUS 3yrs, HIS 2yrs etc...), I would suggest to just go with the best deal you can find. I wouldn't pay the extra premium for an OC card when it's very simple to do it yourself with the multiple software programs available which are very easy to use. I have had ATi Sapphire, ASUS and HIS cards and all have performed well and there is always the chance of someone getting a bad one from any of the card makers. They are all under warranty so I would just go with the best deal....Price, free S&H, bundles includes.....etc....though I do have to say the best packaging I have ever seen from a card mfg. was hands down ASUS.

Powercolor is the best by far!!
Lol just kidding. I have a Sapphire and it's fine i guess. But all kidding aside I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Powercolor or any other brandif the price was right. They all come with a warranty so whatever. I never keep a video card that long these days anyway...
You really shouldn't be buying any computer part (except maybe a case or PSU) with the intensions of having it last for more than about a year or year and a half… IMO.
I would hate to still have anything I used 2 years ago, (except my case and PSU which I did have 2 years ago)…
*is still using his 8800gts 512 from 2 years ago* Seriously, the only thing iv'e changed is adding 2 fans to my case. think i might grab one of nvidia's new cards when they hit thoPowercolor is the best by far!!

NCIX has both the ASUS and Powercolor versions available. You can price match the ASUS with the one on Infonec, which is already a good price on its own (use 319.29. The other one is invalid for price matching), or you can price match the Powercolor with the one on Newegg. The only difference between the two is that the Powercolor only comes with a DVI-to-VGA adapter and a 2 year warranty, whereas the ASUS comes with a DVI-to-VGA adapter, a 6-pin power connector adapter, and a 3 year warranty. As for the quality of Powercolor's cards, I'm using Powercolor cards as I type, and I have had no problems with them whatsoever.
XFX is quite new to ATI cards, but ive had sapphire in the past and have visiontek right now. asus is also a good brand they make good of most everything they make.

You are the man! I'm thinking about going on eBay and trying to buy parts so I can go back to a 6800GT and a AMD Atrhlon 32 bit 2800+!! That would be so cool to be playing new games on that!! Damn I dont know if I can find that stuff though.. yo... Your Sarcasm is idiotic and somewhat insulting.[QUOTE="Nibroc420"][QUOTE="BackHatch"] [QUOTE="Nibroc420"][QUOTE="BackHatch"]

There's nothing your card can play that mine can't, aside from crysis on a higher setting. IMO If you've got a better card, you wasted your money, seeing how there's no new games coming out that'll make use of them, and new cards around the corner.
as for the OP, there's not a whole lot of a difference between the brands, some might have like 30mhz overclocks, or a slightly different warranty, but as long as it's a brand you've heard of before, you should be fine.
If you're planning on overclocking it : XFX warranty still covers it. dunno if others do.
Sapphire has better cooling than the rest (most of the time)

@Nibroc420....I agree....always upgrading every 6 months to a year, whenever new hardware is realeased is nothing but I must have it now or just keeping up with the Jones'. Which is fine if you are that type of person that desires it and has to have it now...but it's not really necessary. There is older hardware, if configured right, can still run plenty of current games. Maybe not a max settings, but at a nice mix of med to high. ( Crysis and FarCry 2 are the exceptions along with a few others)
My secondary PC is a 5+ year old system...Gigabyte GA-K8N SNXP-939socket, Athlon 64 x2 4400+, Corsair2GB DDR 400,Corsair 400w psu, ATi 9800Pro 259mb (AGP), CM Hyper N520, WD Raptor 150GB HHD, ....and it still cranks !
Sorry for getting a bit off topic....but when picking out which card is better, they are are pretty much equal. The differences my come from custome coolers, better warranties, extras thrown in as a bundle or free shipping if you buy online....IMO factory OC is a rip for the extra one pays...so for me it comes down to best price for what you can get over all.

[QUOTE="kaitanuvax"]On average NCIX is so much better than newegg.ca.Can't you use Newegg.ca?

Eh, no clue about Canada stores. I thought that since Newegg.com is epic, Newegg.ca might be as well.

Well, to be fair, they do have good prices, and I think the easy RMA process that the American store provides exists in the Canadian one as well. It's just the tax and shipping prices that are borderline ridiculous on Newegg.
