HI i have a question for my fellow WOW players...

So im going on vacation in a few days, and my account froze, im not sure if i should reinstate it right now, or after vacation. The big question is if your account is frozen do you get double exp? if not then im going to reactivate it. thx for the helpGoldensun48

Over time your characters get "Rested". So in a way you do get Double XP.

but in a lesser amount right?, becasue it was weird i was hearthing to booty bay, then suddenly WOW closes and it sais lack of Ram or something like that(i have 2048mb ram). Then when i tried to log on again, it said your play time is up and you have to pay again. will i get double exp becasue im in booty bay inn right now, but my guys frozen.

Yea Small amount. Its more or less for people who want to try to catch up with their friends. I think you get Double XP Reguardless of where you are. I left my mage outside of Darkshire in Duskwood, Had a lower amount of Rested XP compared to my Pally who was in Stormwind but 200% none the less. And TBH I dont think that was a ram problem, I think It just crashed you out cuz your time was up. Dunno why It gave you a ram error. If a ram error comes up again should look into it.

At level 37 you don't need much rested xp... in a week you can gain 4-5 levels or more definitely. I would not activate your account till you comeback. You only get rested XP if you are in a city when you last logged off and you get more rested XP if your inside an inn inside the city. But i don't know if Blizzard lets you get rested xp if your inside the inn in the city when your account is frozen, i hope it does do. So i would wait, but if you got money to burn go ahead and do it.

Rested xp= Bonus Xp, Bonus xpis used per creep kill not over a time, so it won't go away if you go afk outside. Your rested xp will get used to a limit amount of kills, depending how long your rested. It's only worth getting rested xp if you have a 2nd character your working on. Like you make a new one and your high level character rests at Inn while you get the other one up or goof off :).

But it takes like a long time to get enough rested xp so you can gain 2 levels of extra xp... usually the rested xp is used by the the first level or 1 1/2 levels. Blizzard used to give you extra game time when their servers where down or rested xp, not anymore :(. I might not be 100% right but this is from experience from when i used to play WoW. GL enjoy your trip.

thx, yes i know i can get 4-5 levels in a week, but with double exp you can do it WAY faster. wait so if your in an inn in major city you get more rested exp, then within a regular inn?
