higest speed for online gaming

What do you think the higest speed you need for online gaming? I got at&t and getting ready to upgrade to the higest and that would be 6 mbps. You think that would do?

yeah i have the 6.0mb from At&t its good enough if you can afford i would get it but i want to upgrade to the 10mb they have coming soon can never have enough bandwidth

i have DSL, OLD school style, at about 86kbs and i'm doing fine playing UT3 online, one of the fastest most intense online shooters right now.

just so you know, no matter how fast your connection is(basic 768kb at lowest) it doesnt make a difference on ur "server ping", it strictly depends on location of you and the server, but high speed internet can easily find more servers and such when getting a server list, atleast thats how it is for me(768kb) compared to my buddies internet(8mb)
