You honestly want to spend $160 on that? Will you be using this PC to watch Blu-Ray/HD-DVD movies on a high resolution screen?

gtx 280 would be the best but ati offerings are btter for them oney get two 4870 and run them in crossfire for less then one gtx 280 and better performance.

Nice Thanks for your help i heard that the performance change was only 3fps in crysis. And that Gtx280 beats it in other games but thanks dude ill look into that.

Any $40 dvd burner should do fine.

And just crossfire 2 4850 they give better performance than a single GTX280.

If you want a 9800gx2 you will need a 780i sli mobo

more power supply

etc,etc.

same with other cards, you need to re-configure your whole rig to change your video card. but seriously, if thats your budget, get two HD4850s, which should do what a 9800gx2 should do, and for cheaper. but games need to support Sli/crossfire. Some games dont have SLI, so the 9800gx2 cant use both GPU cores, so it basically becomes a 8800GT. and with the two HD4850s, with no sli/Crossfire games, it will out-preform the 9800GX2 in both cases IMO.
