Highest Quality Developers - List Your Picks

Here are my picks - love em or hate em.

Blizzard (Absolutely loving SC2 right now)

Bungie (Dont whine - they do a good job)

Bethesda (Even if I dont really like any of their games I know their games are highly polished most of the time.)

Rockstar

Nintendo (solely for Mario and Zelda and whatever else they are known for - not for their milking machine)

Anyway, Im sure Im missing someone but those are my picks. Other than Bungie and Nintendo those developers are the reason and proof that PC Gaming isnt going anywhere and is of the best quality most times.

Blizzard, Valve, and Nintendo are easily my favorites. Naughty Dog has put out some really impressive games too.

Storytelling-Bioware: Not as good as Black Isle back in the day but they are the only modern developers who seems to create magnetic characters.

Concept- Valve: They always come up with great ideas like the Gravity Gun, telling story without cut-scene, co-op zombie-killing game and who can forget Portal?

Quality-Blizzard: When it comes to presentation, attention to details and super polished game mechanics, it's a Blizzard territory.

Depending on your game preference, some might like one of the above better than others.

If you hate multiplayer games, you will probably don't like Blizzard or even Valve that much and go for Bioware.

If you just want to get down and have a fun, fluid gameplay experience it's either Blizzard or Valve. Bioware's game mechanics are mostly dull and cookie-cutter.

Sadly Bethesda have now done anything good for quiet a while.

Valve imo is the best out there.

I'm very much an action game player, so I don't have too much of an interest in Blizzard or BioWare, though I am looking to get into the whole RTS & light RPG thing.

As such my list would be:
Valve
Raven
Monolith
CryTek

I would list Blizzard, but they're getting extremely lazy with WoW, namely with their itemization and class balancing. All classes are essentially carbon copies of each other, and they only make a couple items per tier now and copy and paste different stats on them to pass them off as different items. That's just straight lazyness.

Bethesda makes solid games, and Bioware games are great too (even though they tend to look years behind the graphics curve). Oh and Valve for sure, these guys set the bar for post launch title support
