Hit the nail right on the head.. This movie fails simply for not picking the guy thats most natural for the mold. Statham was perfect for this role, hell he was nearly bald to begin with!

Transformers isn't based off a video game, its based off a comic/cartoon.

As for flops based on games...I don't think Resident Evil was a flop, that actually worked.

According to a website a read awhile back, Statham turned down the role because he "didn't want to be type cast with those types of characthers" or something. Although, he still does those roles anyways.

I believe that, David Bateson (the voice of 47 and the person who modeled 47 after in the original game), would have been the better choice.

Fast forward to the piece of crap movies of the 2nd and 3rd.

1. Not directed by Uwe Boll, so it has some hope.

2. Jason AFAIK WAS orignally cast as the role of Agent 47, but he declined.

3. Atleast the actor now playing him supposidly is a good one.

4. The trailer didnt have any crazy heavy metal or rap, it stuck with the Hitman Blood Money theme song and not to mention they had some trademark poses, looks,and symbols throughout the trailer

Anyways, I think it actually looks good. I dont care if the actor looks too young, as long as hes a great actor for the role, I wont notice his young age at all. Now, if hes bad/cheesy at capturing Agent 47, then.....

I do think that that actor is too young, BUT: What if this movie shows how agent 47 started his "Career"?
