HL2, worth getting now?

Okay so, here we go, for all the time I've been gaming PC I actually haven't ever played HL2 and of course neither Episode 1 and 2

Dont hit me!

But is it worth getting?
I can get the orange box for what should be about 23 USD or 17 EURO tho' I already have TF2 and Portal

likely yes. Mind you I thought the first HL was far better then the sequal.

There are some rumblings that EP 3 might come out this year, and if it does, you might wait and buy the bundle with hl2 + episodes, I think it will have best value...

Missing HL2 completely is a shame tho...

Oh and the Orange box is cheap now :P

Is Aliens worth watching now?

Definitely, by all means, get the Orange Box. The Half-Life 2 series is absolutely phenomenal, and all the games have aged quite well, both visually and gameplay-wise.

Yes get the orange box best value around, and if you havnt played the original half life yet then Half-life source is also available on steam for around 10 US dollars.. GET IT THEY ARE THE ****

If you don't have any valve games, you may want to look into the Valve Complete Package on Steam. Its $99 but it contains 22 games. Deadly_Fatalis

I even stated that I already had Portal and TF2 :/

But aye I have 10 valve games already, including HL1

Orange Box is what I'm going for

Not by itself, I didn't like it too much, but I got it with the Orange Box, and I loved Portal and Team Fortress, so go get the Orange Box.

of course you should get it

Get The Orange Box even though you already have portal and TF2 because if you got HL2 and the episodes separately it would cost more then the orange box would and with the orange box you would get an extra copy of Portal and TF2 that you can give to someone else that has a steam account.

Go and get the Orange Box. HL2 is definently worth it.
