For years with just the sligthest whisper of games.. We are going to see the sequel of Alien Swarm for STEAM TOMMORW FOR FREE! Now for all of youg uys that don't know what Alien Swarm is.. It was a award winning mod released for Unreal Tournament 2k4.. A Co-op horror survival game that took just about every note from Aliens and Predator series turning into a challenging, tough, and very rewarding action game that has you controling yoru character from birds eye view.. Careful though, friendly fire is ON.. And a shotgun to the face can ruin any ones day!

This to me is a jaw dropping moment for a game that I thought was as good as vaporware.

Like I said in another thread, I can't wait fo rthis game. I also hope I can make some good maps on it since its having a Source Code going along with it.

ill kill just to play this in third person view.. i like this game and every now and then i wish i could switch it to third person..lol Rahnyc4

Funny you should say that. On one mission I got access to a computer terminal and when I used it I got three options, 'mail', 'status', and 'turret'. Picking the turret option lets you controll a turret in first person. I found the sudden change in perspective pretty impressive.
