I recently got a ASUS G73JW-XA1 Republic of Gamers and I want to remove ASUS live update and I dont think I can do that with add remove, I read it will probably still pop up. Have any of you removed this program? If so please help.

Click 'start', then 'Run' in the start menu. In the 'Run' menu, type "msconfig" without the quotes. The 'System Configuration Menu' will appear. In that menu, tick the "Start Up" tab. On that tab, check if you see Asus Live Update in the list and untick its checkbox.

The program will still be on your computer, but it won't start-up with windows no longer.

*EDIT*

Okay. You were at it while I was typing away...

I had a similiar issue with Uniblue Registry Booster.

I kept getting constant pop-ups, alerting me of registry issues and updates to the program. I finally got the problem resolved and ever since then no more pop-ups have appeared. Read up in my blog (click here). See if any thing I did can help you resolve your issue.
