Anyone here hoping for UT4 besides me? I really hope so. Just like to see what the Krall be like in that game. im just hoping it doesnt become a console only game that I cant play on my PC.
where are these complaints coming from ut3 rocks! It's mindblowingly fun especially while youre getting used to it. Besides for the sniper rifle shot delay after you click the mouse button and the clumsy server search engine i have no issues.
In my opinion there hasn't been a great/awesome/omfgamazing UnrealTournament game since UT'99 which i still own a copy of to this day!
To be honest i think the UT series should just be left to die and Epic should start a new series of games that has no resemblance to the UT series at all.
Ya epic is no stranger to poor game recpetion. NO ONE liked 2k3 when it came out and in response Epic released 2k4 which was exceptional. I'm really hoping that they take a similar approach to UT3. Even though I think that the game is incredible, there are a lot of people who find a lot of problems with it. I wouldn't be super surprized if they released a UT2k8 some time soon as either an expansion or a stand alone.

2k3 actually sold well though and it didnt even have vehicle modes. The addition of Onslaught is what made 2k4 so popular.
The only thing Epic can do with UT3 is add more maps.
It would better if they brought back Bombing Run. Epic said nobody played bombing run, while in ut2003 I played that all night long during the weekends. If they make unreal tournament 3.1, they could put out better quality textures put in more maps from the older ut games.
I dont think the poor initial sales will mean doom for a future UT release for the PC. Epic games decided to release Unreal Tournamant 3 on a really busy part of the year. Call of Duty 4, Crysis and Team Fortress 2 all came out in a relatively short time, if Epic games were to set the launch date in late august, it could have faired alot better.
