Im just confused about whether my homes electrical power system is powerful enough. The average houshold amps per outlet in my area is 20 amps each or combined im not sure (hopefully each). However, gaming systems with quad or dual core cpus and mid range graphics cards apparently can use up to 35Amps! Unless a home has high end heavy gauged wiring system which most people dont have how can the average gamer get enough amps for his machine? Is there something im missing? Would it be useless for me to buy a 30A rated PSU if my outlet in my room maxes at 20A? I have had a gaming system before that seemed to have ran fine with normal 3dmark06 scores and expected FPS rates but i never considered this possibility with amp supply, and it was a Q9550, GTX 280 setup.
