Just wondering because my tasks such as moving a file from one partition to another and burning a dvd is almost demanding 100 percent of my PCs processing power. I'm pretty sure my AMD Athlon X2 4200+ can handle that easliy.
My cpu doesnt eveer get 100% :) but... Dvd burning is pretty demanding though, it shouldn't max out your cpu, what else is in your backround?JigglyWiggly2
My CPU gets to 100% all the time even when bringing up the task manager!Â
The weird thing is when I bring up the processes tab on the task manager it'll start off at 30% or so and drop to 0-15%. d_eM_s
Thats normal because whenever a task is put in the CPU will use as much resources as possible to get the task completed quickly. This is the reason behind the 100% usage spikes and also the reason y the usage drops tremendously once taskmanager is open for a second or two. Usage of 100% is nothing to worry about unless its contstantly at 100% when your computer is idle or not doing anything
