i have a gtx 560 ti matched with a i5 2500k @ 4.5 ghz. anyways iv always been told that me gpu is only capable of playing the game at high settings with maybe a couple at ultra. iv looked at benchmarks as well and what i found strikes me odd. I am able to run the game with everything maxed out(with no AA) and i get a constant 60 frames per second, occasionally itll drop down to 52 or so but mostly stays at around 60, but compared to all the benchmarks and what people have told me, im kicking some ass right now. anyways tho im just curious how is this possible, how am i running it so well? is it cause my cpu is overclocked so much? i dont think it would make that huge a difference tho, im pretty noob at pc stuff still but im just wondering if anyone knows why i can max it out, always thought my card wasnt capable of it(and especially at such a good frame rate)

my gigabyte gtx 560 ti is the 1gb version and it is factory overclocked to 900mhz

thx

What? Why would it not run it smoothly? That's a good card and you have a crazy overclocked CPU, it makes sense that it runs 60fps. Hell I run it at 60fps high/ultra with a 560ti and a non-overclocked i7 2600 @ 3.4Ghz.

I find that people on this site are inaccurate when it comes to how well I can play games. I was told I could only play SKyrim on low but turns out I can play it smoothly on high, with AA. I usually search the game I want to play with my GPU and a youtube vid comes up of the game playing on that GPU. I judge things from that.

1. Its had a few patches since its launch

2. your computer is more then capable of running it on highest settings, hell I have a 460 OC edition, 4gb of ram and an old quad core and I run it on high. I think some people gave you the wrong info by tellign you that you would only be able to run it on HIGH.

That's nice... I can run BF3 no problem with everything on Ultra/no AA except for Textures on High. As soon as I bump it to Ultra, framedrop galore. I also have an i5 2500k @ 4.0ghz and 2xGTX560Ti MSI twinfrozr II 1GB @900Mhz SLi I'm jealous.

Yea, that's true. Some people around here seem to think that anything less than 2016P 8QAA 16AF at 100FPS is bad.

you did not mention the resolution your running at it matter alot when it comes to performance so without telling us that you didn't really tell us anything and a ton of people do the same thing on this site the will list specs, settings and framerate but not the resolution.

No surprise. I'm running on high at 1920x1080 and runs smooth (don't know the fps). I ran it even on ultra, but sometime it lags for a few seconds, on a HD6850, 2 GB RAM and a ....wait for it...............Pentium 2 GHz dual core. lol
