No to the power supply - better off with the Corsair TX650w for around the same price.

CPU is excellent.

The case is up to you, but I'm not overly fond of the Nine Hundred. Maybe give the NZXT Tempest a look-see?

I don't care for ECS when it comes to motherboards. Get a Gigabyte, ASUS, or DFI motherboard. They cost a little more, but they're much higher quality. Same chipset of course. Or hell, even X38 should work just fine.

GPU is great, and that rebate is very nice indeed.

If you want to go SLI at any point in the future (the only reason I'd recommend an X48 chipset board), that Earthwatts 500w probably isn't going to do so well. I'd stick with the Corsair.

If you want to keep costs low, but still have good performance, you may want to try AMD rather than intel. If you plan to do SLI or crossfire this motherboard won't allow it, though setting up either will be a bit costly. Your powersupply isn't bad, though if your on a fixed budget, you may want to go for a slightly lower wattage psu.

The Asus HD4850 beats the GeForce 8800GTS easily for the same price.

It should.

Also, if you want a cheaper GPU, get an HD4850. Just incase you were wondering, I would say the 4850 would still be able to work on the MoBo. I could be wrong however...
