[QUOTE="Ghost_702"]I'll probably just get it off steam. I could see people buying the PS3 version, then downloading the PC version, then reselling the PS3 copy. Batang_X990
You will have to register the PS3 version with your Steam account before you are allowed to download the PC version, so I don't think reselling will be possible.
can't u register ur ps3 version(i'm guessing via code voucher of some sort like EA pass), download the pc version then sell it?i mean it's not like you have to insert ur ps3 version of the game to your disk drive on your pc to play the game.
Since the PS3 version will have Steamworks, I'm guessing the way that it'll work is that you will directly create a (or log into your) Steam account from your PS3 when you first install the game. Then, much like buying any game on Steam on your PC, the PS3 version of the game will be registered and forever tied to your account (perhaps via a CD key, or some kind of unique code encrypted on each disc), and if you log into Steam on your PC it'll be there waiting for you to download.
Or perhaps there'll be some way of doing it on your PC as well. But it will probably still involve permanently registering your PS3 disc with your Steam account somehow.
I'm just guessing this is what will happen. Nothing has been confirmed as to how it will actually work... but come on. Valve aren't idiots. They have almost certainly thought that people might buy the PS3 version for the free PC version, and then sell it on. They have almost certainly prepared for it and come up with a way of preventing that from happening.
