Noob question, I know. I've been playing it for a bit and I suck, but I do alright with the Sniper, Demoman and the Heavy.
Can anybody give me some tips on how to be better with these classes and etc?
Thanks. :)

-Be a Team Player
-Know your class
-Stick to Map Objectives
-Learn every inch of the maps (very useful as a pyro or spy)
It might just be that you aren't used to playing with a team,a s mentioned above watch some "how-to" guides on Youtube. I found it easier to start playing with Medic and attaching myself to a Heavy then I could see how everyone else was playing while still helping my team.Levrar
But remember: Focus on the heavy, but heal everyone, or people will insult you. Seriously.

and with good reason.Don't suck. =P
Try being a medic when you first start and stay behind a heavy. You'll see how other people play that way and you'll still be getting points. Then when you think you've got it then switch to a different class and see how you do. But yeah, practice makes perfect. Also, you'll find a class you really like and usually stick with it.
Force yourself to play the classes you suck at the most until you get better, then move onto the next class you suck with. that's how I did it.Noob question, I know. I've been playing it for a bit and I suck, but I do alright with the Sniper, Demoman and the Heavy.

I bet some cheats. I've seen snipers shoot through walls or rocket guy with missiles that seem to turn a corner for you. Ofcourse could just be because i suck at it and their skills make it seem like cheating.

Lol, not sure if serious. Funny regardless.
Heres some tips for Heavy:
1.When going around corners rev up your gun with right mouse and jump around them this way by when you land you can begin firing without delay.
2.Now a medic makes you harder to kill but even with a medic your not invincible you will go down from sustained fire so when your health is low like 120 or less retreat into cover to heal. If you lack a medic same rule applys your need to go find some health containers to heal being percentage based heavies gains alot of health from them so staying high on health shouldn't be to much of a problem.
3.Heavy is a close range class minigun bullets spread out alot and tf2 damages scales downwards depending on distance(Longer distances equal less damage) so trying to snipe other players and particular snipers with the minigun from long range is not a good idea best to get in close.
4. When dealing with snipers try to stay behind cover where they can't hit you as going into the open with minigun blazing makes you move very slowly and an easy target for enemy snipers. As explained early from long range your mingun is useless but from medium range shooting them with the minigun messes up there aim. A good tactic to close a gap between a sniper is to switch to shotgun and zig-zag forward while firing .
5. Make sure to use your shotgun your minigun has a rev up time and if you find yourself run into a enemy particular demos wasting the time to rev up the minigun will get you likely get you killed best to switch to shotgun and strafe shoot at them. Also this is a good idea to do when retreating switch to shotgun and fire shots while moving backwards so you remain a threat.
There are some great tutorial vids on youtube that some players have posted that give you the run down on the basics of each c|ass and how to perform well with them.
There's some info in those vids you'll find that puts you ahead of 90% of the players in that game. Not even complex stuff, but just ways to utilize your c|ass more than just spamming away.
Thanks guys, I still suck but I'm getting better. I tried the Medic tatic and was surprised how well it works, and I've gotten used to the Demoman class, works for now. And I checked out the wiki and youtube vids, that helped a lot. Thanks all, I'll keep practising and hopefully I'm better soon.
Play a real FPS (Counter-Strike), get skill there, and then that skill will carry over to TF2 tenfold.KHAndAnime

this only works with the twitch reflexes though. in counterstrike, its much easier to kill and easier to be killed. In tf2, you really need to know the limitations and upsides of every class, their movement speed, their abilities, their weapon's tendency. Practicing counterstrike will only get you so far. I feel like practicing something more like unreal tournament might help more unless you want to be a sniper or something. It'll definitely help, but counterstrike is pretty hard to get into itself (well i suck, but if you dont already play cs, it's not goint to be a cakewalk) so unless you actually want to play counterstrike, you dont really need to practice on it.
Anyway, just practice. Focus on one class first. Like others have said, i agree that you should start with heavy or medic. Those two, no matter what you are doing, will most likely be helping your team. Also, watch some guides on youtube. I think the guy who uploaded some really good tutorial videos for spies and pyros was something Daedalus. Just keep on playing and you'll learn, its a pretty simple game but also at the same time, it takes a lot of skill and thinking.
For example, i had one of the best tmes yesterday. My friend and i found an empty 2fort server and we just messed around. I played spy and he played engy, we all had our respective unlocks. We just went at it. I used every strategy from finding blind spots, to sneaking around him, to faking him out and then moving. We then kept on switching classes to counter each other and so on and so forth, It was so intense and awesome. Anyway, my point of this story is that each weapon has its benefits and downsides (most of them at least) and you should really try to explore each one and you could definitely create your own playstyle.
That's the beauty of TF2, almost anybody can find a playstyle that will fit them. Then, they can also choose the type of map that suites their playstyle and they get to enjoy it when it all falls together. I've played mainly nothing more than dustbowl, pl_goldrush and the other Pl map and i still love tf2. and i've also played over 100 hours, probably nearing 200 now. no other game but wc3 and SC because of mods have ever come close.
Also, get a friend, it makes the game even more enjoyable.
Adapt. Engage. Survive.
Oh and practice of course. Watching others play should make you better over time.

Of course every game requires practice to master. But unlike TF2, playing CS and becoming good at it will increase your core FPS skills by a lot.
