hello friends

i have some dvd's ripped to my hard drive - when i play them on the computer they have the black bars in the top and bottom, but its OK because the computer screen is big

but when i use Videora to put them onto my ipod - naturally it still has the black bars, and im only getting the video on half of a friggin iPod screen

is there anywhere to change the videos resolution or crop it somehow so that when i play it on my iPod i get it fullscreen?

i used the "fit to screen" option on the iPod but it just zooms in and you cant see half the stuff on screen

anyone who is knowledgeable on this kinda stuff would be greatly appreciated

basically is there software that can take a 16:9 video and convert it to 4:3?

i believe the iPod ****c native video resolution is 320x240

thanks

if you want to fill the screen with a widescreen video then you have no choice but to loose the sides. There is just no way round it. Unless you can break the laws of physics or whatever.
