I have been using 3Ds Max 9 and when I make something with a lot of polys. Or maybe just about 150 boxes it will start to bog up. And then when I render it Says "Program had run out of memory and must close." Then when I look at my RAM usage gadget on Vista it is flatlining on 100%. I need a way to increse preformance in 3Ds Max or how can I open up my computer and Put more memory in it? Also I have 2 gigs of RAM anyways.

Go to Crucial.com, and let them "scan your system". That will tell you what you have, and what you can get for it. Tell us what it says, and then we can go from there.

I have a program called RamBooster - http://www.download.com/RAMBooster/3000-2086_4-10028673.html?tag=mncol Honestly I haven't really had a need for it, I have 4gb Ram on Xp but i guess you could try it out and see if it works for your needs.

RamBooster? Haha, what? I'd highly recommend avoiding any programs that supposedly "optimize" or "free" your RAM. There's just so many problems with them. The thing I'd recommend is changing your startup software and simply buying more RAM (if you can find out what will work in your system, that is).
