How come you can't play HL2 DM when you own HL2?

I have the orange box and ive always wondered why Valve charge you for HL2 DM?

To make more money I presume :P

yeah, I have often wonder that myself but if you have an nvidia card its free.:)

I think HL2 originally came with CS:S free as its multiplayer. It was more popular I believe. :)

It's free if you have an NVIDIA card or an ATI card... all gamers should have one or the other.

Yeah, get the Source box. It even comes with Half Life: Source. It's basically Half Life 1 re-done on the source engine. That's what I got at least.

Same here. Also had Day of Defeat: Source. Great deal for $15.

It's free for NVIDIA and ATI graphics card users.

Ah, that makes sense. I bought the original HL2 box before getting the orange box as well.

Strange...I remember getting it free years ago simply for owning HL2
