How do I check what type of RAM I use?

Anyway, I self built my own computer.. (kinda).. long story... anyway I'm looking to buy some more ram for it... two 1 gbs.. but I forget what type of ram is compatible with my computer and I forget how I check again. Can anyone help?

just put in what type of motherboard you have and itll show you what memory is compatible with it.

ya CPU-Z is the way to go. Will get any info you would think about for your PC.
