There are so many confusing symbols and letters when I look at power supplies. I need something with about 500 watts that will be compatible with a 8800GTS 640MB. It seems like there are a lot of really cheappower supplies(20-40$$)should I buy one of these or stayawayfrom them? Can anybody get me on the right track?

Thanks!

Antec Earthwatts 430W for $70 or Corsair VX450W for $80 are PERFECT for a 8800GTS,and yes avoid ALL PSU's less than $60.

Most power supplies do the trick. Look at some of the customer reviews to see if they had problems. As long as you have more than enough Watts for minimum you will be ok.
