Hi everyone. I was wondering how do I cool my motherboard because the system temp seems a bit too high, everything else seems ok however.

Case = 30°C Average
System = 48°C Idle, 55°C load
Cpu = 30°C Idle, 39°C load
Gpu = 55°C Idle, 70°C load

Are those system temps normal? I am guessing my graphics cards heat is heating the heat sink on the motherboard. If they aren't normal how can I keep it cool, by the way I'm using air cooling.

The Mobo is good, I would worry about your GPU, you could get a fan for it.

Well looking around, i've seen a lot of people with higher load temps for the GPU than mine, the system alarms at 90 so i guess it's safe at 70. I'm not really sure what else i could do for it, i have a pci blower below the card which reduced temps a lot. The card is overclocked however, it isn't actually a XXX edition like it says in my sig, it's just clocked to that speed, well actually a little bit faster.

Those temps seem perfectly acceptable to me. I don't see any reason to worry.

My whole computer crashes at GPU temps of 80, my 7800gt, you want to keep them lower.

Hmm, as far as I know, most cards should still operate in the low 100's degrees Celcius. Of couse, it's a bad idea to run them at that temp for any period of time, but it seems a little premature to me to crash at 80C

yeah at first I was a little freaked out by the temperature but Its perfectly natural for high end card like the GTX or the 2900XT. if that worries you do yourself a favour and dont look at your temps when their on load.

Just pour a glass of ice water over it, that should make it pretty cool.
