how do i delete bf3 advertisement on bf2 main screen?

i just got bf2 and this annoying advertisement for bf3 always pops up when i get on the main menu!

how the heck do i get rid of it i have to click out of it every time its very annoying!

I don't think you can if you want to play it on multiplayer

also i cannot get rid of the intro and i cannot open the console

You can't blame them, Valve been doing the same over decade with their games such as CS, while loading server there's L4D banner

I don't see why it's so annoying... The intro should be skip-able and the console, I would imagine, is closed so that no one cheats.

Huh...it always worked for me. Not sure why it wouldn't for you. Then again, it's been a couple years since I've played and so they could have removed something.

For source games you can usually add a paramter for no intro and disable the motd, as well as disallow all server downloads.

Because cheats use the console and not injectors.

Removing all the original movies from the game can save over 250MB of data being loaded up during the start of the game and being placed into memory - this will help smooth your gameplay particularly for those with less RAM. If for any reason you experience any problems with the game after renaming the movies, simply rename them back to their original names.

Update: Instead of the above, the quick way to disable the intro movies is to simply use the +restart command line command in your BF2 startup icon:

E.g.: "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +restart

I was guessing. It's not like it's completely unheard of. Remember that series called Elder Scrolls? Yeah, you sort of use the console to enter cheat codes. Get off your high-horse.

i figured it out i just deleted the files in the mods movies folder or whatever. but i still get lag every few seconds. feels like internet lag but my ping is 50-80. already tried the pb_sleep 500 but didnt do a damn thing
