You dont paste it anywhere, simply click the name of each of those folders starting with C: which is your main harddrive. To access that open "My Computer" When you get to the part that is named "accountname" just click the folder thats the same username you use to log into steam.
Alright im going to assume you're running XP and just give you some insctructions, just follow them carfully. Click start, click My Computer, double click your hard drive which should say something like "Local Disk C:", now double click the folder named Program files, if you haven't gotten this far the window should be replaced with some messages saying messing with these files is dangerous or something, just click continue anyway. Now open the Steam folder, steamapps folder, then the folder that matches your steam login name, then the counter-strike source folder, then the cstrike folder, then the cfg folder. A config file should be in there.
Im trying to change my resolution in the game... But I cant see anything when I open the game... Help? I think I found the config file... Alot of keys and words there...
Right click on CSS in Steam, goto "Properties". You will see two boxes, in the middle, one says, "Set launch options...". Click that one. A little box with a blank text field will pop up and above it says, "These options are for advanced users only.". In the text field use something like -w 800 -h 600 this will set your resolution too 800x600 or -w 1024 -h 768 for 1024x768 . You can put in any resolution you want. Click okay, and then close. Start your game and it will be at what ever resolution you entered.
