Hey, I know that I don't have a gaming laptop, but I should be able to install a game or two without having any problems. Its a newer laptop and I don't install a bunch of junk on it that would make it run slow. Can anyone tell me how I can find out the specs for the laptop? When I find out, I was going to post them on here and hopefully someone here could tell me whether or not I can run games on it? Thanks!

you could use dxdiag. Click on the start button: If you're using Vista: just type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes) in the area right above the start button that reads "Start Search" and then hit Enter If you're on XP: Click on the Run... command and it'll open another menu box, type in "dxdiag" (again, without quotes) and hit Enter You could also install PCWizard08, run it. It'll give you a graphical menu with different buttons you can click to give you info about your computer. I do believe that one (should be the default one choosen) of them gives you the overall specs of your computer, the other ones will give you more in depth info on parts

Go to your start menu and type in: DXDIAG

Most everything you'll want to know will be in the System and Display tabs. You can also download CPU-Z (very small download) which will give you a bit more detail about your processor, RAM, and video output.

You need to look under your display tab to see what kind of video card you have, and then we can say for sure.
