What processor and RAM are you using? Also what case, if you have an extremely small case then you'd probaly be better off using uatx motherboard, but that is very rare. Other than the case it all depends on the current components you have.

if you have an extremely small case then you'd probaly be better off using uatx motherboard, but that is very rare.

If it's extremly small he shouldn't get an ATX at all, Mini-itx, Nano-itx and if space is really at a premium Pico-itx.

If you mean what case im using it is an scaleo T i think, but if you are wondering what motherboard im using it is an D1826-g.

That's a standard ATX motherboard, it's easy to replace that. Now what is your CPU, RAM type and graphics card?

My cpu is an intel core 2 due e8400 that i got today, the ram is DDRbut i can replace it and the graphic card is an 8800gt.

You don't think a motherboard smaller than the one you have now will fit inside the case? Yes, it will fit.

Yep. ATX is ATX - be it regular or micro. Size is the only difference.

Micro ATX just misses off the bottom row of screws, all the other mounting holes are in the exact same places

What is your soundcard? If it's an old one i'm guessing it's standard PCI in which case it'll work perfectly. The board also has a PCI-e 1x so it'll work with the newest cards ie Xonar Essence STX, Xfi Titanium
