I got my source server 3 days ago, and its not really very active. Just clan members, but I want people from outside. Whats the best way to get out the word about my server. I know there is a program that will invite everyone in the server (not mine) to my server. What is it? Thanks.
You just gotta have it setup right so people njoy playing on it and then wait :P I used to own a CSS server and it took 3 months before it became full all day everyday.
Tickrate 100 No bots run good maps: nuke,Train,Dust2,de_Cpl_mill and Inferno. Make sure the Hitboxes aint laggy like most servers
 WHAT I HATE:
Betting system - It's pointless and people just bet at the end of the round when you know who will win. MANI Admin Plugin with Mani Adverts on because they popup over the top part of the radar where the arrows show up indicating whereabouts ur team are infront of u.
I think the biggest thing is to not constantly change it up. If you say your server is a 24/7 office, make it only 24/7 office. If you ban a certain weapon, always keep it banned. Just don't change it up alot.
I imagine doing that on someone else's server will get you banned and give you a bad rep. You want your server to have the lowest ping possible so it appears on the top of the serverlist. Also, get friends and clan members to play on it whenever they want a game and be welcoming to people who turn up on the server coz they will be the ones who start your regulars list and eventually they'll draw more people in.
