Erm I want to play some old MS-DOS games I have on CD like Little Big Adventure and Magic Carpet 2.

Does anyone know a good emulator type programme that I can use to run these classics?

Yeah, DOSbox will play pretty much anything. It can be tricky to set up if there are CD checks or if you want to emulate some exotic sound cards but all you have to do is read the docs.

Yeah, if you have DOS floppies, if you know how to set up autoexec.bat and config.sys in order to have mouse, sound and disk caching available, if you know how to load stuff into "high memory, if you know how to set up EMS and XMS... I'd say it's a breeze. :D

Seriously... I could write up a synopsis of how to set up DOSBox in probably two or three paragraphs. It's easy as **** once you stop closing your mind and telling yourself it's too complicated for you.
