Alright, so I have two Dell monitors and a 48" AOC 1080 plasma TV. I am running two 8800GT's in SLI on Windows 7 Ultimate. All three of the displays are plugged into the first card.

I have always run one of my monitors and the TV at the same time, as an extended display. But I just acquired the second monitor and was wondering if I could use all three of them at once.

The reason I want to do this is because being in college I do a lot of research papers so its nice having two monitors to work with while studying, then the plasma TV to watch movies and play games on.... plus the TV and the newest Dell monitor were free lol. I hate to use the plasma TV to work off of because of the burn in factor.

The problem that I'm having rite meow is that when I go into nVidia control panel and try to set up multiple displays it tells me that only up to two displays are possible to run when SLI is enabled. Even when I disable SLI I'm still not able to run all three at once.

Is there any way that I could run both the Dell monitors and the TV all as extended displays? If so how?

It should definitely work without SLI enabled. Try playing around more, your other option is to add a pci 1x card, or a pci card, or even a pci express x16 card if you have another pci express slot. If you are on Windows XP or 7 (I heard Vista does not let you run ATI and Nvidia cards together, I am doubting this, but something to consider) For PCI: I recommend the x1550 pci, works fine, it's very weak. Pci express: 8400mgs, I have this on my computer running my second and third monitor. Note I am using an hd3870x2 as my main videocard. PCI 1x, the only one I know pci 1x is the x1550.

Nvidia SLI does not allow for Tri-Monitor Display. You would need to add a secondary PCI video card for the extra monitor.

It does when you disable it.

You have them all plugged into one card still? What outputs are you using? Two DVI's and a VGA or S-Video? If it's anything like ATI, the DVI and HDMI ports are shared, so you can only have two of any combination of them on one card active at once. Pisses me off when I have two dvi and two hdmi and can only use 2 displays at once.

But you have another card, it should work with one of the displays plugged into the second? Or does disabling SLI completely remove the other card from service? That's pretty stupid too if so.

I have them all plugged into one card, the one in the first slot, two DVI for the Dell monitors, and s-video for the TV. I have another DVI cable, I'll try plugging the TV into the second card through DVI. Think that will work?

Tried disabling SLI again and still nothing, says your graphics card only supports two monitors. Is there some program out there that can help with this? If not looks like I'm going to be buying another card.

I have a EVGA 680i board so that means no third SLI slot.

For PCI: I recommend the x1550 pci, works fine, it's very weak. Pci express: 8400mgs, I have this on my computer running my second and third monitor. Note I am using an hd3870x2 as my main videocard. PCI 1x, the only one I know pci 1x is the x1550.JigglyWiggly_

You said that the x1550 is very weak, is that going to be an issue? I won't be running a whole lot on one of the extra Dell monitors. If I use the PCI card for one of the Dell's and only use it for web pages and word you think it will be good?

I can't believe that they wont let you use all the inputs on the card, nor the inputs on the second card, sounds like shenanigans to me.

The reason it's not letting you is because you should plug all the other inputs into your second videocard when SLI is disabled. I mean, don't plug anything more than 2 things into your first card, plug them in your second videocard. About the x1550, it's fine for everything, but oddly enough on some parts I had weird video delays, if you can find an 8400gs pci or something for for it, if not x1550.
