ok so I got crysis warhead along time ago without having a good enough computer to run it but I knew I would eventually upgrade my pc, but in the mean time I installed it on a mates computer and played it on that, I also installed it on my laptop and my old computer that just didnt have a chance of running it, so know I finally have a decent enough computer to play crysis on high settings hopefully but I just installed it then and said I cant play it due to it already being on a number of other computers already?

So how do I get around this so I can play my copy of crysis warhead that I actually purchased? this really **** me off about pc gaming :(

You have to call EA and ask them to give you more activations

No. Seriously, if you install it more than 3 times (I thought it was 5) you have to call EA to "unlock" more installs for you. Look down the page at the post below that I just made.

Did you actually activate it and not just install it? Why would you do that if you knew it had no chance to play it?

Looks like we just got one more anti-DRM supporter.8)

Yeah, it really does suck. Sorry to break it to you. Good luck getting your game back.

well I just built a good pc to finally get into PC gaming and this was a swift kick to the nuts to start off with, this DRM thing only punishes people that actually buy pc games not the pirates

You're exactly right. There really is no reason for the DRM. Hope you get Crysis Warhead working soon. You've bought the game. You deserve to play it. It shouldn't matter how many computers you've installed it on in the past.

Although I do not support this action in any way, as you have already bought the game and it has screwed you over you could crack it, which would override the DRM function but would not let you play online

got that right. I think a lot of people would have less of a problem (but still a huge problem) with DRM if EA allowed u to revoke the activations by simply uninstalling the game, giving u that activation back. And increasing the number of activations........
