i dont see an option to delete them anywhere
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\SourceModsGo there and delete the folder for the mod, restart steam.

I think if you go into control panel, then go to add or remove programs look for the mod and then click remove (All of the mods I have on steam are in control panel).
