Crysis based on the fact that its such a larger world.

Metro 2033 looks fantastic though.

Technically speaking, Crysis. Although, I saw Metro 2033 at near max settings at a demonstration and I thought it looked better than Crysis. Vanilla Crysis that is. If you mod Crysis up a bit, it's on a whole new level of awesome.

I think Metro is a fantastic looking game. I am more for dark spaces with awesome lighting effects. So, I think Metro 2033 looks a bit better in some cases. I think it will deffinatley be used as a benching tool.

I've been playing Metro 2033 on normal because my rig isn't the best, and it still looks amazing. I started with it on high, and it looked even better.

while Crysis probably looks better overall thanks to the more open environments, i don't remember the last time a game has wowed me with its graphical effects as much as Metro 2033.

I'm playing Metro on highest settings except for DOF and Tess. It looks pretty good. Some parts are very impressive, some other parts are fairly average. Most of the stations and market areas look nice, as does the topside terrain. All in all not as impressive as Crysis though. Crysis just had more eye cany in general. With big open environment, sun sets and sun rise. tank/jeep explosions etc... It's visually more stunning imo.

I play the game @ 1920x1200 everything maxed out, DX11 with tessellation, DoF off and the game isn't as good looking as Crysis. Although I did hear there is a DX11 patch coming out for Metro that is supposed to be very promising. I guess we will see...

This. One thing people seem to forget is that Crysis doesn't look nearly as good as they think it does without having a few mods. Vanilla, while still incredible, is not what they think it is. Mods help a lot. Like always.
