How do you get a direct feed screenshot from a console game?

As the title says. What do I need to be able to get direct screenshots from my PS3 games, of comparable quality to FRAPS screenshots I get with my PC? Making this thead in audio/video and in computer hardware, cuz I'm not sure where to ask. Anybody know?

i m agree with this (I'm sure you need some kind of capture device - low-end like a Dazzle with red/white/yellow rca and/or s-vdieo up to something that does component/HDMI like a Roxio game cap or some kind of Hauppauge device.)
